An Ordinance to apply a sum not exceeding One hundred and sixty-one million eight hundred and seventy-one thousand nine hundred and seventy-six dollars to the Public Service of the financial year ending 81st March, 1947.

Whereas the expenditure required for the service of this Colony for the financial year ending on the 31st March 1947. has, apart from Charges on account of Public Debt, been estimated at the sum of One hundred and sixty-one million eight hundred and seventy-one thousand tine hundred and seventy-six dollars.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Appropriation short title. for 1946-1947 Ordinance, 1946.

IN WOLLEN.

2. A sum not exceeding One hundred and sixty-one Appropriation million eight hundred and seventy-one thousand nine hundred from general and seventy-six dollars, shall be and the same is hereby charged upon the revenue and other funds of the Colony for the service of the said financial year and the said sum 60 charged may be expanded as bereinafter specified, that is to say:
