Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Factories and flunt Kule, Workshops Amendment Ordinance, 1946.

The Factories and Workshops Ordinance, 1987, 38 Salutitution amended by the Factories and Workshops Amendment gia Ordinance, 1940, is amended by the repeal of the words "by-law "by-law' and 'by-laws" wherever the same occur in the throughout said Ordinance and in the Schedule and appendices thereto No. 18 of and by the substitution therefor of the words "regulation" and "regulations" respectively.

3. Subsection 8 of Section 2 of the Factories and Amenduent Workshops Ordinance, 1937, is amended by the repeal of of Ordinar

No. 18 of the words "Chairman of the Urban Council" and the 1937, 2, substitution therefor of the words "Labour Officer".

4. Section 4 of the Factories and Workshops Ordinance, 1937, is amended by the repeal of the words and comma between the word "Any" where it first appears in the first line thereof, and the word "bealth" in the second line thereof.
