PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the twenty-fourth section of the Immigra- tion Control Ordinance, 1940, Ordinance No. 32 of 1940, it is provided that the said Ordinance shall come into force on such date as the Governor may appoint by Proclamation: NOW I Lieutenant-General EDWARD FELIX NORTON, Com- panion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Companion of the Distinguished Service Order, Military Cross, Officer Administering the Government of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same, do hereby PROCLAIM that the said Ordinance shall come into force on the fifteenth day of January, 1941.
Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the Colony of Hong Kong, this 7th day of January, 1041.
