An Ordinance to amend the Holidays Ordinance, 1912,

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Holidays Amend- Short titla. ment Ordinance, 1941.

2. Section 2 of the Holidays Ordinance, 1912, is Substitution amended by the repeal of paragraph (b) thereof and by the substitution therefor of the following paragraph :-~~-

(b) **School holiday means a day which shall be kept by all Government schools, military schools and schools Ordinance registered under the Education Ordinance, 1913.

3. Section 3 of the Holidays Ordinance, 1912, is amended Sakstitation by the repeal of paragraph (12) thereof and by the sub- stitution therefor of the following paragraph --

(12) Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival Day, or if that day should be a Sunday then the following day;.

of Ordinance amended by the substitution of the words and figure section No. 5 of 3** for the words and figures "sections 3 and 4 in the 1912, x, 5. second line thereof.
