WHEREAS it is provided by section 2 of the Lepers Ordinance, 1935, that it shall be lawful for the Governor in Council to appoint such places us he shall think fit to be leper settlements for the segregation and treatment of lepers; and every such settlement shall comprise such aren as the Governor shall define by proclamation:
AND WHEREAS the Governor in Council has appointed the place known as the Tung Wah Infectious Diseases Hospital at Kennedy Town to be a leper settlement:
NOW THEREFORE I, Sir CEOFFRY ALEXANDER STAFFORD NORTHCOTE, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same, do hereby PROCLAIM that such settlement shall comprise and it is hereby defined as comprising the area known as Inland Lot No. 1613, situated at Kennedy Town in this Colony mul containing in the whole by admeasurement 30,625 square feet or thereabouts, as coloured pink on the plan annexed to the Crown lease thereof dated the 13th day of September, 1901.
