WHEREAS by the twenty-eighth section of the Phar- macy and Poisons Ordinance, 1937, it is provided that the said Ordinance shall come into operation upon such date sa the Governor by Proclamation may appoint:

NOW I, Sir GEOFFRY ALEXANDER STAFFORD NORTHOOTE, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order, of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander- in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same, do hereby PROCLAIM and APPOINT that the said Ordinance shall come into operation on the first day of January, 1938.

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the Colony of Hong Kong, this 29th day of December, 1937.
