By His Excellency, Sir ANDREW CALDECOTT, Knight, Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Governor and Commander in Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice Admiral of the same.

WHEREAS by section 41 of the Telecommunication Ordinance, 1986, (Ordinance No. 18 of 1936) it is provided that the said Ordinance shall come into operation on such date as may be fixed by proclamation of the Governor.

NOW 1, the said Sir ANDREW CALDECOrr, do hereby proclaim that the first day of October, 1936, is the day fixed for the coming into operation of the said Órdinance.

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the Colony of Hong Kong, this twenty-fourth day of September, 1936.
