By His Excellency Sir WILLIAM PEEL, Knight Com- mander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice- Admiral of the same

WHEREAS by section 38 of the Industrial and Reformatory Schools Ordinance, 1932, (Ordinance No. 6 of 1932), it is provided that the said Ordinance shall come into force on such date as may be fixed by proclamation of the Governor :

AND WHEREAS by section of the Industrial and Reformatory Schools Amendment Ordinance, 1933, (Ordin- ance No 21 of 1933), it is provided that that Ordinance shall came into operation at the same time as the Industrial and Reformatory Schools Ordinance, 1932, which it amends:

NOW I, the said Sir WILLIAM PEEL, do hereby proclaim that the said Ordinances shall come into force and operation on the Twentieth day of November, 1933.

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the Colony of Hong Kong, this 17th day of November, 1983.
