And Whereas the said period of three months will expire on the 3rd day of November 1915 Now therefore I Sir FRANCIS HENRY MAY Knight Commander of the Most Distin- guished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hongkong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same being of opinion that the necessity of His Majesty's forces in the Colony being subject to the said Act continues do berely declare that by reason of the imminence of active service it is necessary for the public service that. His Majesty's forces in this Colony be subject to the said Act for the further period of three mouths from and after the 3rd day of November
1915.
