5. The prices of provisions imported from countries other than China (excepting those above enumerated) may not be raised more than 15% above the retail prices prevailing in the Colony on the 25th July, 1914.

Norr.-In consideration of the loss sustained by discount on sub- sidiary coinage, payment for all articles of food not exceeding $ in value (excepting the articles enumerated in clause 5) shall if made in subsidiary coin be subject to an additional charge of 7%.
