By His Excellency Sir HENRY AUTHOR BLAKE, Knight Grad Cross of the Most Distinguishal Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong. kong and its Dependencies, and Vice-Aduiral of the same.
Whereas, by Regulation No. 1 of the Quarantine Regulations made by the Governor in Council on the 17th day of June, 1961, under section 25 of Ordimuco No. 26 of 1891, it is provided that the term "port or place at which any infections or contagious disease prevailed" proclaimed to be such by Order of the Governor in Conneil, published in the Gazette, from the dute means a port or plane of such Proclamation ;
And whereas the said Quarantine Regulations were duly notified to take effect as from the 20th day of June, 1901;
And whereas His Excellency the Governor in Conucil has ordered that Newchwang should be pro-› claimed as a port or place at which an infectious or coningions disease prevails ;
Now, therefore, I, Sir Hexar ARTHUR BLAKE, Knight firand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong- kong and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same, do hereby, with the vice of the Exech- *tive Council, proclaim that Newehmung is a port or place at which is infectious or contagious diseas
prevails.
