1. 3. Any such verandalis may be constructed of iron, stone or brick, except that distraction of within the City of Victoria the piers thereof shall, on the ground story of any building venudas. or other structure, be made of iron or of cut stone worked straight and square, the external face of which shall be extra finc punched,
