As for the Engineering Graduate Training Scheme (EGTS), 270 training places for engineering graduates will continue to be offered in 1995.
The total number of training places in the Government for engineering graduates has increased from 64 in 1994 to 80 in 1995. We are planning to further increase this to 94 in 1996. As regards the EGTS, there are at present no plans for any increase in the training places.
