Hepatitis cases among prisoners
Following is a question by Dr the Hon Huang Chen-ya and a written reply by the Secretary for Security, Mr Peter Lai, in the Legislative Council today (Wednesday):
Question:
Will the Government inform this Council of:
(a)
the number of cases and incidence of acute Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C respectively among prisoners in each of the past three years; and
(b)
the incidence of acute Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C respectively among the public as compared with those among prisoners?

The number of reported Hepatitis B cases among prisoners over the last three years is -
