THE LABOUR DEPARTMENT HAS PUBLISHED A NEW BILINGUAL BOOKLET NAMED ** CODE OF PRACTICE IN TIMES OF TYPHOONS AND RAINSTORMS" WHICH SERVES AS A REFERENCE GUIDE FOR EMPLOYERS AND EMPLOYEES TO MAKE EARLY WORK ARRANGEMENTS DURING INCLEMENT WEATHER.
THIS CODE OF PRACTICE IS PRODUCED BY THE LABOUR RELATIONS PROMOTION UNIT TO FACILITATE EMPLOYERS IN REACHING PRIOR AGREEMENTS WITH THEIR EMPLOYEES WITH REGARD TO WORK ARRANGEMENTS IN TIMES OF TYPHOONS AND RAINSTORMS SO AS TO MINIMISE CHANCES OF GETTING DISPUTES OVER PAY AND CONDITIONS OF WORK.
