* MAINTAIN A CLEAN KITCHEN;

* CLEAN THE CHOPPING BLOCK AND KNIFE BEFORE USE, ESPECIALLY

AFTER CUTTING RAW MEAT AND POULTRY;

* USE CLEAN COOKING UTENSILS;

* WASH HANDS AFTER VISITING THE TOILET AND BEFORE PREPARING AND

EATING FOOD;

* STORE IN THE REFRIGERATOR PERISHABLE FOOD NOT MEANT FOR

IMMEDIATE CONSUMPTION;

* WASH VEGETABLES THOROUGHLY BEFORE COOKING;

* COOK FOOD, ESPECIALLY MEAT AND SHELLFISH, THOROUGHLY BEFORE

CONSUMPTION;

* EAT HOT FOOD WHILE IT IS STILL HOT AND COLD FOOD WHILE IT IS

COLD. DO NOT LEAVE IT EXPOSED FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME;

* FOOD TO BE KEPT OVERNIGHT SHOULD BE PUT IN A REFRIGERATOR

REHEATED THOROUGHLY BEFORE EATING; AND

* ALL GARBAGE AND WASTE PENDING DISPOSAL SHOULD BE STORED

COVERED CONTAINER.
