IN PREPARING THEIR FLEET DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES, THE BUS COMPANIES MUST ALLOW FOR THE NEED TO BUY NEW CONVENTIONAL BUSES IF A CONTINUING DEMAND FOR SUCH VEHICLES IS EVIDENT.
