(9) "ASP transport" included air transport carriers of Hong Kong, supporting services to air transport and branch offices

of overreas airline companies. For branch offices of overseas airline companies, the survey only enumerated labour and other input costs needed to spport the daily functioning of the branch offices. Expenses that formed part of the company's overall activities were excluded from the survey although they might be spent locally, such as aircraft operational expanses. For revenue, the survey included an amount of deputed business receipts which was equivalent to the total input cost, and any rental income from subletting office presisen; while passenger or freight revenue which was part of the whole airlines' activitima vas not recorded, Such treatment for branch offices was based on the national accounting concept of attributing the production carried out by aircraft and ships to the resident enterprises of the country which ran then,
