Mr. LEE Wing-tak

Mr. Lee first joined the Government in 1959 as

temporary clerk after the closure of H.M. Dockyard, where he had served for 14 years as a store labourer, Store Assistant and Clerk. He was promoted to his present

rank of Clerical Officer Class I in 1974.

Throughout his service, he has been attached to the News Division. His duties include organising the printing of speeches and Daily Information Bulletin and supervising the distribution to the media of information supplied by Government departments and Government-subvented organisations. He has contributed a great deal to the smooth operation of the News Division, especially on days of Legislative Council meetings when the printing and distribution of speeches is an important part of the Information Services.

Mr. LEUNG Hang

Mr. Leung joined the Government service in 1948 as a photographer with the Police Force. His technical ability is highly professional and over the years he has been responsible for the introduction of new photographic systems and procedures, keeping the Photographic Section abreast of the times and a fore-runner in forensic photography. Mr. Leung has contributed greatly of his own time to study and evaluate latest photographic techniques to ensure that the Force takes advantage of any new

innovations for Police work.

Mr. LEUNG Hung-ying

Mr. Leung joined the Preventive Service (now the Customs and Excise Service) as an Assistant Revenue Officer in 1958 and rose to become a Principal Revenue Officer Class I in 1971 (retitled Chief Customs Officer in 1977). As one of the Service's four Chief Customs Officers with responsibility for the maintenance of discipline among junior officers, Mr. Leung has shown himself to be a strict yet considerate officer who has won the respect, confidence and affection of his colleagues both senior and junior. Mr. Leung has been commended on seven occasions for his devotion to duty, leadership, initiative and organising ability.
