Mr. Michael Morley-John, R.D.

Mr. Morley-John has recently retired after 27 years'

He joined the Legal Department of the

distinguished public service.

Hong Kong Government as a Legal Officer in 1951.

He subsequently held substantive appointments as Crom Counsel,

Magistrate, Senior Crown Counsel and Principal Crown Counsel.

He was appointed District Court Judge in 1967, Puisne Judge in

1973 and a Judge of the High Court in 1976 and held this office with

distinction.

The Honourable Li Fook-wo. 0.B.E., J.P.

Mr. Li, as Director and Chief Manager of the Bank of East Asia,

is a prominent member of the banking community. He is also Director of

a number of other companies.

He has been a member of the Legislative Council since 1973 and

of Executive Council since 1978; he is Chairman of the Public Accounta

Committee and a member of the Banking Advisory Committee among others.

He has devoted a great deal of his time to community service

and voluntary work, mainly in the banking and educational field and for the Community Chest, of which he is Vice-Patron and a past member of the

Board of Directors and Executive Committee. He is closely involved in the running of Chung Chi College of the Chinese University of Hong Kong .

Hr. Lo Kwee-seong, 0.B.E., J.P.

Mr. Lo is an industralist closely associated with the development

of Hong Kong and an expert on small-scale industries.

He has been a member of the Urban Council (1962-1966), the Legislative Council (1970-1972) and nany.Government advisory boards and

Committees.

He was appointed a member of the Consumer Council when it was established in 1974, and Chairman in 1975. During his period of chairmanship, the Council's achievements have received wide recognition both in Hong

Kong and overseas.
