I thank you for your letter of 29th March 1946, which

I have just received, and I enclose herewith Forms K.C.1,

duly completed, in duplicate.

A full detailed report dated April 8th 1943 was handed

to the Swiss Consul General in charge of British Interests in

Shanghai, and whilst I was in London this year I forwarded a

copy of this report on February 14th 1946 to the Under-Secretary

of State for Foreign Affairs which was duly acknowledged.

Also, on March 7th 1946 whilst in London I interviewed Mr.

Edmunds, Under Secretary of Foreign Affairs, 3 Cleveland Row,

London.

I have now returned to China and shall be glad if you will

address all communications to me at above address (viz. 178 Route Dufour, Shanghai, China), instead of c/o Chartered Bank, 38 Bishops gate, London, my previous registered address with you.
