should come under the Lend/Lease arrangements
and that the financial responsibility would rest with
H.M.G.
I presume that paragraph 6 of the Joint Statement
on the Lend/Lease settlement will cover the present
case but I should appreciate your guidance as to the
procedure to be followed.
Unfortunately there has been some delay
win dealing with this subject in this Department and as we
have now received a reminder from Hong Kong I should be
very grateful for an early reply.
