Dear Sir Patrick,

Mayle has passed on to me his

correspondence with you regarding the incidental expenses of your recent trip to Hong Kong.

Pending the receipt of a claim from the Hong Kong Government for expenditure incurred on your behalf, I am not quite clear whether you did in fact draw the subsistence allowance of 25/- a night in Hong Kong or whether it is to be paid to you here.

If the latter would you be good enough in replying to give the times and dates of your arrival in, and departure from, Hong Kong? will then arrange early payment of the subsistence allowance due to you.
