With reference to your letter of the 21st July regarding the report of the Commission of Inquiry into the fire which occurred at the wing On Godowns in Hong Kong on the 22nd September, 1948, I am directed by
1r. Secretary Creech Jones to transmit to you, for the information of Mr. Secretary Ede, a copy of a savingram from the Governor of Hong Kong reporting on the action taken as a result of the recommendations of the Commission.
