15. As a member of the Colonial Service, you will
be subject to the General Orders of the Government
under which you are serving, and to the Colonial
Regulations for the time being in force. A copy of
the current edition of the Colonial Regulations
(Part I) le enclosed, together with a pamphlet giving details of general conditions and cost of living
in Hong Kong.
16 If you are prepared to accept the appointment on these conditions, you should precent yourself to
the Consulting Physicien to the Colonial Office, whose
name is given on. the enclosed letter, for the purpose
of being examined. This letter, together with the
accompanying questionnaire duly completed, should be
taken with you at the time of your exemination and
left with the Consulting Physician, who will send his
veport direct to this Department. This report will
ba made in confidence to the Secretary of Stase and
