Thank you for your letter 54126/6/49 dated 9th December enclosing a copy of the draft despatch to Hong Kong on the subject of "denial" claims.
Like Moberly, I have not yet seen any comments by the Service Departments, but, subject to anything they may have to say, I have no comments on the draft despatch. I should, however, like to support the view expressed by Moberly in the
(19) penultimate paragraph of his letter dated 7th
December.
I am sending copies of this letter to Reid, Cairns, Robertson, Prince, Moberly and Mitchell.
