The Colonial Secretary, Hong Kong,
presents his compliments to the Under
Secretary of State for the Colonies and
with reference to the Under Secretary of
State's communication 54064/49 of 1st July
encloses a reply from the Attorney General,
Hong Kong, to the Secretary of State's
Legal Adviser's Note on Hong Kong Ordinance
No.4 of 1949. The Legal Adviser's Note
will be borne in mind when the necessity
to amend the Ordinance next occurs.
