1. For purpose of draft provisional United Kingdon Estimates 1947-48, please telegraph provisional estimates of Hong Kong revenue and expenditure 1st April, 1947 to 31st March, 1948.

Revenue should exclude
(a) receipts from sales of relief and rehabilitation supplies see copies of correspondence enclosed in my savingram No. 107 of 31st July; and
(b) receipts related to expenditure by Military Administration - - sea paragraph one (E) of war offica telegram No. 01733 of 19th February to C. in C. Hong Kong and paragraph Three of War office
War office telegram No. 01734. should be glad to know whether you are now in a position to transfer these receipts to His Majesty's Government.
