appropriate to the officer for the time being per forming the duties of Harbour Master, Health Officer of the Port or other officer of the Trust, as the case may be, to any such select committee as aforesaid with full powers to enforce any of the provisions of any Ordinance or regulation conferring powers on the Trust or providing for the more effectual discharge of the functions of the Trust, and may revoke any such delegation.

(3) Any failure to comply with the orders of any such officer or select committee at aforesaid made in pursuance of any such delegation and duly signed by the Secretary of the Trust, shall be punishable in the same manner as if such order had been made by the Trust.

The office of a trustee shall be vacated, if the trustee

(a) becomes bankrupt; or

(6)

holds any office of profit under the Trust; or

(0) without the previous consent of the Trust is absent from the meetings of the Trustees for more than three consecutive months; or

(a)

resigns; or

(e) is directly or indirectly interested in any contract with the Trust or participates in the profits of any contract with the Trust.

No trustee shall vote in respect of any contract or matter which rectly affects him or any firm to which he belongs or company of which he is a director: Frovided always that a trustee who is an officer of the Goverment of the Colony shall not be de barred from voting in respect of any contract or matter which directly or indirectly affects the Government or any department or officers there of: And provided also that a trustee shall not be debarred from voting in respect of any contract or matter which directly or indirectly affects the general interests of the persons ΟΙ institutions or the members of the associations which he specially represents on the Trust,

If any question arises as to the eligibility of any trustee to vote the shall be decided by the votes of the other members present.
