Principals shall keop a daily sumnery
showing the attendance of oech class. The
attendance of any pupil who leaves before
completing 2 hours attendance, or 1 hours if
below class 8 or Lower Primary 3, shall be de-
ducted from the daily total.
The average attendance of a school for
any period is the total number of attendances
mede during that period divided by the number
of school meetings.
Similarly the average enrolment for any
period is the total number of attendances
possible during that period divided by the
number of school moelings.
The following shail count towards scnool
time for cráinary attendance purposes :
(a) Interruptions of secular instruction by
reason of arrangements necessary for
medical inspection.
(b) Any time occupied by visite paid during
the school hours to places of educational
value, or by field work or rambles,
