Public Relations (Cont). Another aspect of work under the
heading of Public Relations should be recorded. A meeting of the
Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce which represents the
business community of Hong Kong was called and addressed by a
representative of C.A. (It. Col. Owen Hughe.). The business
community are in a very difficult position as compared with
Government servants whose pay and pension are ubscured and were
found to be very much in the dark as to the purpose of Civil
Affairs Administration. They are also wondering how they stand
in regară to compensations and reparations for loses lustuined as
