Public Relations & Broadcasting. Arrangements have been made with the other Services for the co-ordination of press releases. Service Releases are submitted to the Press Relations Officer to be handed out at a daily Press Conference held at 1600 hours. This arrangement is at present working smoothly.
The question of Civil Affairs relationship with the other Service representatives is the subject of & file already submitted to C. C. A. 0. In brief, the Service representatives already established were unwilling to include Civil Affairs representatives in the Joint Committee whilst the C. 4. attitude is that it is essential that local knowledge and experience in dealing with the Chinese is essential for the
