Article 4
Revocation of nactments by Japanese Authorities
All proclamations, enactmenta, oruers and the like issued or made by or with the sanction of any Japanese authority uurin the period of Japanese occupation are hureuy suspended unless and until expressly revived by authority of the British ilitary Administration.
Article 5
Suspension of Jourts
All Courts and Tribunals (except Courts artial held by virtue of any statute; other than Courts and Tribunals established by authority of the British Military suministration are hereby suspended and deprived of all jurisülction until authorised by the British Military úministration to reopen.
Article &
Orders to be übeyed
All persons shall obey promptly all Proclamution enactments and orders issued or mue by or under the authority of the British Military Administration and must refrain from all ots which impede the forces under my command from all acts of violonce, and from any act likely to cisturb public order in any way.
Article 7
Delation
I hereby delegate to the Senior Officer for the time being Commanding Brit nic_Wijesty's Forces in Hong Kong all the overs, responsibilties and jurisdiction assumed by me in relation to the colony of Hong Kong and empower him to uelegate the same or any part thereof to any officer under his command and to authorise further aelegation.
Article 8
Short Title
This Proclamation may be cited as the British Military dministration Proclamation.
