Order of the Bath, Companion of the Distinguished Service
Order, Military Cross, Officer Administering the Government
and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its
Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same, do by these presents
appoint you WILLIAM JAMES CARRIE, provisionally and subject to
His Majesty's pleasure, to be temporarily an official member
of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong.
