My telegram No. 650. I have seen recent telegrams exchanged between the C. in C. India and G.0.C. Hong Kong regarding Sikh unrest and suggestion that Indian Police Interrogators experienced in Sikh trouble might usefully be sent to Hong Kong. Please report by telegraph what, if any, developments followed your own request to Government of India for loan of services of Indian Police Officer, and whether difficulties with Sikh personnel have been experienced amongst police or other civilian personnel. What briefly is evidence of source of subversive influences and what counteraction is being taken by police authorities?
