Dear Private Secretary
Mr. Ormsby Gore has received a letter dated the 5 21st of April, from Captain Plugge (posted in Paris)
asking that he should consider a letter dealing with
a matter connected with Hong Kong. Captain Plugge
asks that the Secretary of State should look into this
question and do what he can.
Unfortunately, no enclosure was received with the
letter here. I should be very grateful if you would
look into this and, if possible, let me have a copy of
the enclosure if by any chance the original has gone
astray.
The Private Secretary to
Captain L. F. Plugge,M.P.
Yours sincerely,
(Signed) TRAFFORD SMITH
Private Secretary.
