FURTHER ACTION.

is pleased, by and with the advice

of His Privy Council, to order,

and it is hereby ordered, as

follows:

1. This Order may be cited as

"The Hong Kong Naval Defence

Order, 1938".

2. Approval is hereby given

to the exercise by the Legislature

of the power contained in Section 1

of the Act, to make provision at the

expense of the Colony for

maintaining and using vessels of war.

3. The Admiralty is hereby

authorised to accept any offer made

by the Government of Hong Kong to

place at His Majesty's disposal for

general service in the Royal Navy

any vessel of war so maintained,

provided that, as regards any such

vessel maintained by the Colony of

Hong Kong in conjunction with any

other
