NAVAL VOLUNTEERS
ORDINANCE
From Our Own Correspondent
HONG KONG, Sunday. The Government has promulgated an ordinance empowering the Governor to offer the Navy the services of civilian naval volunteers.
Henceforth members of the Naval Volunteer Force become subject to the measures of the Naval Discipline Act. They are subject to training outside the Colony and will be available for anti- piracy duties. They may be called on to serve anywhere in the Empire with the Royal Navy.
