amendments made will be similar to the effect of
the amendments made in Clause II in regard to
which I would invite reference to paragraph
above.
6.
Clause XVIII of the Instructions of the
14th of February, 1917, refers only to unofficial
members and would seem to imply that an official
member cannot resign.
Circumstances might arise
in which it might be convenient for an official
member to resign and it is considered that the
present opportunity should be taken to effect the
indicated
this amendment Clause XX is re-enacted in
order to permit of the revocation of the
Additional Instructions of the 29th of November,
1929. The word "hereinbefore" has however been
inserted in sub-paragraph (1)(a), and the words
"or in pursuance of " have been deleted from
?
sub-paragraphs 1(b) and (b) because they would
seem to introduce an ambiguity in a case where a
member is appointed by an Instrument executed by
the Governor in pursuance of an Instrument giving
H.M's instructions.
