Object.

The object of the League shall be to advocate and to promote the provision of facilities for scientific contraception so that married people may space or limit their families with the view to the production of healthy and strong children and to guard against the evil effects of ill health and poverty.

Functions.

(1) To keep in touch with the birth control movement abroad.

(2) To establish and maintain Birth Control Clinics, and to encourage birth control by all lawful means.

(3) Research: To study contraception in all its aspects; and to maintain touch with scientific research on birth control in other places.

(4) Propaganda: To maintain an information bureau which shall issue approved literature; and to conduct press campaigns if so decided by the Executive Committee.
