I beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter, with enclosures, of the 7th instant, Reference 53531/1/35, in regard to the application of Miss K.K. Johnson for passport facilities to proceed to Hong Kong.
In accordance with the suggestion made in your letter, Miss Johnson has been advised that enquiries are still being conducted and that a further communication will be addressed to her in due course.
In the meantime Miss Johnson's passport will be retained in this Office.
