The Chief Passport Officer presents his compliments to Miss Johnson and begs to inform her that as the result of the enquiries made, the Colonial Office have been informed that Mr. Ting admits to having a wife and two children living in Canton.
It is presumed, therefore, that in the circumstances Miss Johnson will no longer wish to proceed with her application for passport facilities to proceed to Hong Kong.
A postal draft for 2/-, which accompanied the passport application is returned herewith.
