other circumstances affecting the value of the Office.
Partially furnished rented quarters if available. If quarters are supplied by Government a deduction of 6% (or y if heavy furniture is provided) will be made from the Officer's salary. If Government quarters are not supplied an officer who rents a tenement with the permission of the Government, receiv es a rent allowance in the sum of the rent and taxes payable in respect of the unfurnished tenement less a sum of 6% of salary. maximum monthly rentals inclusive of taxes which are recognised by the Government are as follows:- (a).
