FAR-EAST AVIATION CO., LTD.
29th August, 1932.
The Inspector General of Police,
Police Headquarters,
HONG KONG.
Sir,
202
We have the honour to report that the
Kwangsi Provincial Government who have recently
bought a number of Aircraft from ourselves will,
during the course of the next few weeks, be
returning one Atlas Mk.II Aircraft to Hong Kong
for repairs.
It is possible that this machine may have to
be shipped to England to carry out the necessary
repairs but there is every indication that xx we shall
be able to do these repairs locally in Hong Kong.
We therefore request that such fittings as
Gun Mountings, Sights, Interruptor Gear and Bomb
Releases may arrive here on the machine and be exported
again from Hong Kong when the Aircraft is returned.
For your information, to take these fittings
off the machine would entail considerable dismantling
and extra expense, and we shall be grateful if the
above permission may be granted.
We have the honour to be,
Sir,
Your obedient servants,
FAR-EAST AVIATION CO. LTD.,
(sd.) A.V. Harvey.
Manager: Hong Kong & South China.
