I have the honour to inform you that a bill, copy enclosed, intituled "An Ürdinance to apply a sum not exceeding Twenty-seven million five hundred and eighty- five thousand one hundred and forty-two Dollars to the Public Service of the year 1933" was introduced in the Legislative Council and read a first time on the 22nd

September.

2. Copies of the draft Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure for 1933, of an Abstract showing the difference between the Estimates of Expenditure for 1932 and the

Enclosures Nos.4 & 5 Estimates of Expenditure for 1933, of memoranda by the

Enclosure No.6.

Colonial Treasurer and the Director of Public Works, and

of the speech by the Colonial Secretary are enclosed.

3. It is proposed to take the remaining stages of

the bill on the 6th October, and I shall address you further

thereafter.
