Wireless services.
Company now willing to take over existing services at
earliest date convenient to you, and to meet minimum
requirements for modernising specified in above mentioned
telegram. Also prepared to establish wireless telophone
service with Shanghai assuming possibility of suitable
arrangements with connecting station at Shanghai.
Company suggest, and I agree, that to save time heads of
proposed agreement he handed to Company's Manager in Hong
Kong to be telegraphed by him to Company for approval
subject to which they would authorise him to sign on
their behalf. Please telegraph whether you accept this
and forward by mail general description of apparatus
nceded for additional equipment costing £16,000 which
you require so that Company may place orders.
Suggest
you give copy of description of apparatus to Company's
Manager.
