With reference to our letter of 3rd March, 1931,
transmitting a valuation of the security held by us as
cover for the note issue of the Mercantile Bank of India,
Ltd.,
in Hong Kong, I have the honour to report, for the
information of the Secretary of State, that the Bank have
deposited £10,000 5% Treasury Bonds
5% Treasury Bonds 1933/35, as
additional security owing to the rise in exchange.
