With reference to Mr. Hartin Jones's letter of lst instant on the subject of the registration of nurses (Ref. No. 553,248/2), I am directed by the Government of Northern Ireland to state that our ministry of Home Affairs has been informed by the Joint Nursing and Midwives Council of Northern Ireland that the Council has no objection to the arrangements indicated in the Bill and Regulations providing for reciprocity between Hong Kong and Northern Ireland in respect of the registration of
nurses.
This Government agrees that references to the Joint Nursing and Midwives Council of Northern Ireland should be included in Clause 5 of the Bill, Regulations 35 and 36, and Form IV. (a).
