With regard to the charge allowance given to me

in 1922 and now under discussion, I would like to draw your

attention to what is being done in the workshops at present

for other departments.

Sanitary Department.

Design and building of five all steel 30 cwt tipping bodies

to fit Morris Six Wheeler Chassis. Not only are we building

the bodies but we are manufacturing the tipping gear

complete these could not be supplied as required by the

Sanitary Department through the Crown Agents.

Design, make and erect on Morris Commercial Long Chassis

Vehicles four all steel meat vans.

Police Department.

Design and build two light bodies for transport of goods

and personal on a Morris 30 cwt chassis.

Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps.

Building an armoured car body onto a Morris Six Wheeler

Chassis.

Public Works Department.

Erect and test one Aveling & Porter Ltd. A. D. Type Steam

Roller for Public Works Department.

Altogether the approximate cost of all the above work which we have actually in hand at present will be

$12,000.
