Shroff could only be maintained by the presence at his desk
throughout the day of another officer.
2. Refunds are paid out by the Shroff, to the person entitled, who signs a receipt on the warrant or distraint. 3. A chedk could only be kept in the manner stated in 1. The debtor receives a Treasury receit.

time; I have done so only once. I do not think that the
Auditor, previous to last month, has done so since I have
